Music of Repentance

For many years at Emanuel Synagogue, I worked with the NSW Council of Christians and Jews to bring choirs from different faith backgrounds together, to sing liturgy that was common across traditions. We sang with the Choir of Christ Church St Lawrence (Anglican), the Choir of St Francis Assisi Paddington (Catholic), and the Australian Byzantine Singers (Greek Orthodox).

This service was recorded during a period where Yom Hashoah fell near the Western Easter week, and the theme of repentance was explored in the liturgy. Here are the offerings from the Emanuel Choir.
